Frequently asked questions
How many chefs are available for baptism?
All our approved chefs can take on a baptism if it fits their availability. We rank chefs who specialise in the style first on this page.
How do I pick the right chef?
Read their bios, check the signature dishes, look at reviews from past clients and the menus they've put together. You can also filter by price and cuisine.
Can I request a custom menu?
Yes. On the booking form you write preferences and allergies. The chef replies with a suggested menu before you confirm.
What about drinks?
Drinks are usually supplied by the customer. Some chefs can suggest wine pairings or bring a signature cocktail — ask them ahead.
How long does an event last?
From 2-3 hours for a dinner up to 5+ hours for a BBQ or large event. You discuss timing with the chef — fees are per event, not hourly (except for multi-day "specific period" bookings).
