Terms of service

These terms govern your use of BookYourCook.gr. By using the platform, you accept the terms.

1. Service

BookYourCook acts as a marketplace between customers and independent professional chefs.

2. Payments

Bookings are paid in full upfront. Chefs receive 100% of their fee (no commission) after the service is completed. The platform is funded by a service fee charged to the customer at booking.

3. Liability

BookYourCook is not an employer of chefs. Each chef is an independent professional.

4. Content & promotional licence

By uploading content to the platform — including photographs, videos, menus, descriptions, profile information, reviews, and other materials — you grant BookYourCook a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, adapt, edit, and promote such content for marketing, advertising, promotional, commercial, and platform-related purposes across any media or communication channel, including the website, social media, digital advertising, newsletters, printed materials, and partner campaigns. You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. BookYourCook may edit or adapt the content (for example cropping, resizing, or reformatting) for promotional and formatting purposes, without altering its essential meaning. This licence remains in effect while the content is on the platform and for a reasonable promotional period afterward. It does not transfer ownership — you retain all rights to your content — and personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR.
