French Private Chef
Bouillabaisse, duck confit, crème brûlée and perfect pairings — French gastronomy at home by professional chefs.
From classic boeuf bourguignon and coq au vin to lighter bistro menus — fish in beurre blanc, slow-built ragouts and a proper crème brûlée to finish — our French chefs work with technique, patience and sauces made from scratch. They adapt the menu to whatever's fresh at the market and lean on Greek cheeses, butter and seasonal vegetables where it fits. Perfect for anniversaries, romantic dinners for two or a polished table where you want fine dining without leaving home. The chef brings the shopping, cooks and cleans up; travel cost is shown transparently before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
Does the chef make the sauces from scratch or use ready-made bases?
From scratch — that's where French cooking really lives. Stocks, reductions, beurre blanc, hollandaise and demi-glace are made right in your kitchen, which is why some dishes need a little extra time. If you prefer lighter sauces or less butter, mention it when you book and the chef adjusts accordingly.
Can the chef source French ingredients like foie gras or specific cheeses in Greece?
The staples — Comté, brie, Dijon, tarragon, good butter — are easy to find. For more specialist items (foie gras, certain AOP cheeses or fresh truffles) the chef sources them on request or suggests excellent Greek alternatives. If you want something very specific on the menu, mention it early so there's time to secure it.
What does a French menu include?
The chef designs a multi-course menu inspired by French cuisine — appetizer, salad, main, side, dessert. You can request adjustments for allergies or dietary preferences.
Can I combine cuisines in one menu?
Yes. Many of our chefs specialise in multiple cuisines and can put together fusion menus. Discuss it with the chef before booking.
How many guests can one chef serve?
Most chefs accept 4 guests and up. For larger events (15+) some chefs bring an assistant. Check each chef's minimum guest count on their profile.
What if I have allergies or special diets?
On the booking form you note allergies (gluten, lactose, nuts, etc.) and dietary preferences (vegan, sugar-free, etc.). The chef adapts the menu accordingly.
Are all chefs professionals?
Yes. Every chef goes through our team review — experience, references, food safety. We do not approve everyone who applies.
