Is every dish 100% plant-based, or is there a risk of hidden animal products?
Every vegan menu is fully plant-based — no butter, eggs, dairy or honey. Chefs use plant substitutes like cashews or coconut cream instead of dairy. If you're cooking for a mixed group, you can also request some dishes with animal products; many chefs prepare parallel menus in the same kitchen.
Do you handle allergies or gluten-free needs at a vegan dinner?
Yes — note any allergies or intolerances (gluten, nuts, soy) at booking and the chef adapts recipes, for example tahini instead of cashews or gluten-free bread. It helps to flag your needs early, so the chef can factor them in while shopping and avoid cross-contamination during cooking.
What does a Vegan menu include?
The chef designs a multi-course menu inspired by Vegan cuisine — appetizer, salad, main, side, dessert. You can request adjustments for allergies or dietary preferences.
Can I combine cuisines in one menu?
Yes. Many of our chefs specialise in multiple cuisines and can put together fusion menus. Discuss it with the chef before booking.
How many guests can one chef serve?
Most chefs accept 4 guests and up. For larger events (15+) some chefs bring an assistant. Check each chef's minimum guest count on their profile.
What if I have allergies or special diets?
On the booking form you note allergies (gluten, lactose, nuts, etc.) and dietary preferences (vegan, sugar-free, etc.). The chef adapts the menu accordingly.
Are all chefs professionals?
Yes. Every chef goes through our team review — experience, references, food safety. We do not approve everyone who applies.
